Welcome!

Hi there, and welcome to the very first blog from the team at 'yes' Optus Camberwell!


As it is our first post, we thought it might me useful to give you a little background on our store and what we plan on doing with this blog; 


- We were first opened in 1994 in the early days of Optus' development, and have seen a lot of changes in our time. Throughout these past 17 odd years, we have always striven for a greater level of excellence than can be found anywhere else (even any of our sister stores!). While sales are of course important to a store like ours, we recognize the need for our customers to be happy with the service they are getting and the experience they are having in store. In order to achieve this goal, we have always relied on the principles of our 'perfect' team. The idea of 'perfect' was first coined by the store's owners, and is a basic set of principles which every member of our team follows to ensure that you, the customer, always get the service you deserve. The perfect principles are as follow;

  • Ethics
  • Responsibility
  • Friendly
  • Efficient
  • Caring
  • Trustworthy
While these six rather desirable traits may seem somewhat clichéd, they are indeed what everyone in the store feels are the most important characteristics we need to exhibit in order to make your experience in store as enjoyable as possible. As we said earlier, sales are important, but for us, our reputation and your happiness come first - we want to build a solid customer base of loyal customers who will continue to shop at our store, and they best way to do this is to ensure that you, as a customer, always take priority over sales.

So next time you come in and see us, keep in mind these six principles which we always do our best to uphold in order to help you get the experience you should from your local dealer!


- But what are we trying to achieve with this blog? What is the point of us generating another collection of information in a world saturated with people in the know? 

Our simple our is to try and help you increase your contact with the store and keep up to date with things going on locally and the world over. We will be announcing special blog only deals, reviewing the latest and greatest handsets, helping you get to know our staff and help you make sense of the sometimes complicated world that is the telecommunications industry.
